Omnirad 379 EG

Omnirad 379 EG by IGM Resins is a type 1 free-radical photoinitiator. It is the electronic grade of Omnirad 369. It is a highly efficient UV-curing agent used to initiate the photo polymerization of chemically unsaturated prepolymers such as acrylates-in combination with mono- or multi-functional vinyl monomers.
  • It is suitable for surface, through and LED cure.
  • It is applicable for white, clear and pigmented systems.
  • It is designed for UV-curable systems.
  • It is used in plastic, metal, paper coatings and offset, screen inks, printing plates, over print varnishes and in the electronics industry.
  • The recommended addition level is 2.0-4.0% for offset inks, 2.0-4.0% + 1.0-3.0% Omnirad 184 for screen inks, 1.0-4.0% for pigmented coatings and 0.5-5.0% for photo polymers for imaging.
  • Omnirad 379 EG has a shelf life of 36 months.
