Omnirad 991

Omnirad 991 by IGM Resins is a type II photoinitiator that can be easily used in corporation with classic amine synergists or amine acrylates. It is used in clear systems like OPV and industrial coatings as well as pigmented systems like offset, flexo and inkjet.

• It overcomes dispersing issues that may occur in powder PI’s like Omnirad 4PBZ and BMS.
• It can be used in white & water-based systems, UV curable coating, ink formulations based on acrylates, for substrates such as paper, wood, metal, plastics and glass.
• It is suitable for through & surface cure and exhibits absorption at longer wavelengths.
• It can be used as alternative to Omnirad 4PBZ and Omnirad BMS to improve operational efficiency.
• Its liquid form makes it easy to handle and to be put in formulation.
• Its performance can be significantly improved when used in conjunction with tertiary amine synergists like Omnipol ASA, Esacure A 198 or Photomer 4250.
• The dosage level of the grade is 1-5% by weight.
• The shelf life of the product is 24 months.
