METHOCEL™ E15 Food Grade LV

METHOCEL™ E15 Food Grade LV by IFF's Nutrition & Biosciences is a surface modifier. It is a food-grade hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) thickener with low substitution. It is a low-viscosity product with high salt tolerance. It offers improved adhesion, spreadability, homogeneity and advanced rheology control. It provides gelation, reversible gelation with heating, water-binding and a broad range of pH stabilization. It exhibits excellent film properties such as high tensile, strength and elongation. It enables enhanced workability and water retention. METHOCEL™ E15 Food Grade LV is used as a protective colloid and pigment suspension in construction coatings and inks. It is compliant with US, JP, EUR Pharmacopeia and U.S. FDA GRAS.
