METHOCEL™ 311 Powder by IFF's Nutrition & Biosciences is a water-soluble thickener with the highest substitution. It is used as a rheology modifier, binder, lubricant, protective colloid and pigment suspension.

It is an industrial-grade based on high purity and non-ionic hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC).
It offers excellent film properties such as high tensile, strength and elongation.
It improves adhesion, spreadability, homogeneity properties and rheology control.
It exhibits gelation, reversible gelation with heating and elastic to brittle viscosity builder.
It is used in inks as well as improves workability and water retention for construction coatings.
It provides reduced drip & solvent evaporation rate, good water-binding property, pH stability and low salt level tolerance.
