Additive 5166

Additive 5166 by Harmony Additives is polyethylene (PE) wax emulsion. It has fine particle size that ensures intimate and homogeneous incorporation within other ingredients of the formulation, maximizing the required effects. It shows abrasion resistance, water repellency, slip, lubricity and anti-blocking properties. It can be easily incorporated by simple mixing. Additive 5166 is used in aqueous formulations such as water-based coatings, printing inks, over print varnishes, paper and cardboard coatings. Recommended dosage level is 3.0-5.0% on total system for paints and printing inks.
