Additive 5118

Additive 5118 by Harmony Additives is a silicon-free defoamer. It is 100% based on mineral oil. It provides high efficiency and performance persistence. It is ideally suitable for chemical process of mild acidic to high alkalinity. In addition to destroying foam, Additive 5118 also controls re-foaming tendency of the surfactants incorporated in the system. It is used in aqueous systems, paints and printing industry. Recommended dosage level for emulsion paint is 0.1-0.3%.
