Tego® Foamex 855

Tego® Foamex 855 by Evonik is an emulsion of a polyether siloxane copolymer, contains fumed silica. It acts as a defoamer/deaerator for waterborne formulations. It is based on polyether siloxane technology. It exhibits good long-term effectiveness. It is suitable for mid- to high-PVC formulations and high-viscosity formulations. It is recommended for brush application/roller application, airless spraying, compressed air spraying, flexo/gravure printing, dip coating, flow coating, curtain coating and flooring. It is compatible with waterborne, addition to the let-down stage and partly compatible with addition to the grinding stage. It is used for architectural paints, general industrial coatings. Recommended addition level is 0.1-1% as supplied calculated on carbon black. Tego® Foamex 855 has a shelf life of 12 months.
