Tego® Foamex 1488

Tego® Foamex 1488 by Evonik is an emulsion of a polyether siloxane copolymer, contains fumed silica-based defoamer. It is very effective. It provides good long-term effectiveness and foam-inhibiting properties. It is very suitable for clear and pigmented formulations. It is suitable for waterborne and partly suitable for addition to the grinding stage and let-down stage. It is recommended for flexo/gravure printing, dip coating, flow coating, curtain coating and flooring. Tego® Foamex 1488 is used in architectural paints, printing inks, general industrial coatings and wood coatings. Recommended addition level is 0.1-1% on total formulations. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
