SURFYNOL® DF-37

Surfynol® DF-37 by Evonik is a proprietary acetylenic-based, free, nonionic organic defoamer. It is designed to minimize web formation during latex glove and waterborne coating dipping processes. It is 100% active, effective, APE- and silicone-free. It provides the inherent wetting ability and allows consistent coverage of ceramic and synthetic forms used in latex dipping. It promotes wetting of other low-energy substrates like plastics and contaminated or improperly cleaned surfaces. Due to its wetting capabilities, the tendency of the defoamer to cause fisheyes, craters, retraction and other surface defects is significantly reduced compared to most defoamers. It complies with FDA regulations. The recommended dosage level of Surfynol® DF-37 is 0.5%.
