Dynasylan® 1146

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Evonik
Dynasylan® 1146 by Evonik is a hydrophobic diaminofunctional silane. It acts as an adhesion promoter or as a primer in coatings applications. It possesses low volatility, low viscosity and correspondingly low odor level during application. It provides improved product performance and quality. When used as an additive, it can eliminate the need for special primers in numerous bonding applications. Because of its unique oligomeric structure, Dynasylan® 1146 exhibits excellent wetting and forms weather- & moisture resistant bonds to substrates with difficult adhesion properties. It is suitable for RTV silicones, two-part urethanes, silylated urethanes, MS polymers and two-part epoxies. The recommended dosage level is 0.5-1.5 wt.%. It has a shelf life of at least 1 year.
