AMICURE® IC133

AMICURE® IC133 by Evonik acts as a curing agent based on amine. It is designed to react with trimer isocyanates for high performance coating applications. It is used as epoxy curing agents and modifiers. It provides low temperature cure, ultra-fast property development, low VOC formulations, excellent flexibility, hardness, abrasion resistance, good chemical resistance, excellent durability and excellent surface appearance. It is suitable for direct-to-metal (DTM) coatings, pigmented topcoats and clearcoats. AMICURE® IC133 is recommended for OEM, light industrial, structural steel, external side of storage tanks and marine applications. Its recommended dosage level is 126 phr with HDI trimer, 21.8 wt% NCO, 2,500 mPa-s at 25°C. It has a shelf life of 18 months at storage temperature 0-40°C.
