AEROSIL® E 972 by Evonik is a rheology control additive based on a fumed silica after-treated with DDS (dimethyldichlorosilane). Offers good dispersibility, anti-settling & anti-sagging effects and corrosion resistance. It is suitable for solvent-borne, water-borne, 1 pack and 2 pack coatings. Used in car OEM, general industrial, coil, wood and powder coatings. It has an additional level of 1.0-2.0%. AEROSIL® E 972 has a shelf life of 2 years.
