Kalama® Benzaldehyde by LANXESS (previously Emerald Kalama Chemical) is a non-reactive diluent for high gloss. It is also used as a solvent for graphic arts and printing. a building block for benzylamine and benzoin. It is an industrially useful aromatic aldehyde that is used in epoxy resin coatings, where it reduces the viscosity and raises product flexibility. Its manufacturing process is based on oxidation technology, ensuring that Kalama® Benzaldehyde does not contain chlorine residuals (low-chlorine or chlorine-free benzaldehyde), in contrast to many competitive benzaldehyde offerings. It is produced using the highest standards for quality and sustainability, including ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
