Kalama® Sodium Benzoate NF/FCC by LANXESS (previously Emerald Kalama Chemical) is a corrosion inhibitor. It can effectively inhibit corrosion and flash rust in waterborne systems at low concentrations. It may also reduce fouling by reducing the tendency of rust and scale to dislodge from corroded surfaces and does not cause foaming in these applications. It is recommended for paints and coatings. The shelf life of Kalama® Sodium Benzoate NF/FCC is 24 months.
