THIXATROL® SR

Low-molecular-weight polyester amide. Acts as a non-seeding, highly efficient, liquid, organic rheological additive for aromatic and some oxygenated solvent-based systems. Provides viscosity control, very good sag resistance and thixotropy. Allows high processing temperature and long processing time without seeding. Reduces brush drag and produces very good paint application properties. Exhibits high efficiency and easy processing. Used for applications like high-build industrial coatings, maintenance and architectural systems, and high solids coatings, air-drying aromatic and high-solids aromatic paints, chlorinated rubber primers and topcoats, vinyl topcoats, traffic paints.
