THIXATROL® 53 X

Non-yellowing, non-hygroscopic organic derivative of castor oil. Used as a rheological additive for industrial paints, particularly for chlorinated rubber and vinyl systems. Reduces sag without impairing flow properties or levelling, settling, and penetration of the paint into porous substrates. Offers easy incorporation. Increases viscosity. Does not react with pigments and vehicle systems. Does not affect weather resistance. Applications: appliance and metal furniture topcoat. Use level: 0.6-3.0% by weight.
