THIXATROL® 5020W

THIXATROL® 5020W by Elementis is a modified EVA emulsion for enhancing the rheological effectivity and metallic pigment orientation in coating film. It prevents the sedimentation of heavy pigments like metallic flakes and pearlescent pigments while paint preparation or operations stage and further storage.

• It provides excellent thickening & rheology behavior.
• It exhibits good anti-settling and improved sagging performance.
• It is suitable for majority metallic paint for waterborne systems.
• It is used in inks, paint finishes, automobile, industrial, plastic, wood & furniture and leather coatings.
• THIXATROL® 5020W has a shelf life of 18 months.
• Recommended dosage level is 5-10%.
