THIXATROL® P600

THIXATROL® P600 by Elementis is a special polyamide powder based rheology modifier which builds up a strong thixotropic structure in mainly nonpolar solvent-based systems. It is used as anti-sagging and anti-settling agent thixopropic properties by special treatment. It has higher melting point than conventional anti-sagging agent of powder type.

• It maintains excellent stability in storage and improves productivity for dispersion stability.
• It eliminates trouble such as seeding and poor recoatability.
• It especially affects aluminum paste, MIO, red lead, zinc-dust and anti-corrosive pigment (prevents the settlement of pigment and hard caking).
• It is suitable for solvent-based heavy duty paints, inks, specifically epoxy primers, urethane resin coating, chlorinated rubber primers and alkyds primers.
• Recommended dosage level is 1.0-3.0%.
• THIXATROL® P600 has a shelf life of 4 years.
