RHEOLATE® RX 04A

RHEOLATE® RX 04A by Elementis is hydrophobically modified alkali-swellable emulsion (HASE) rheological modifier. It is suitable for systems formulated with acrylic emulsions, styrene acrylics, acrylic vinyl, vinyl maleates and VeoVa. It is developed with the highest technology for waterborne systems.

• It provides, medium viscosity thickening, superior performance and appearance when compared to cellulosic modifiers.
• It is easy to handle with high shelf life stability and high resistance to microbial spoilage.
• It can be used with a low shear rate thickener.
• When used together, it is designed to replace cellulosic thickeners with technical advantages.
• Newtonian behavior giving high transfer during application.
• RHEOLATE® RX 04A is used in decorative coatings, paints, finishes matte, semi-gloss & gloss and waterborne inks.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.5-1.5% by weight.
• It has a shelf life of 1 year.
