RHEOLATE® FX 1070

No VOC, clear liquid. Acts as an associative thickening agent for aqueous coatings. Increases the high-shear viscosity, resulting in more Newtonian behaviour. Improves weatherability, film build, brushing characteristics, edge covering and appearance. Provides longterm viscosity stability, decreased water sensitivity, improved flow and leveling characteristics. Maintains the right balance between medium- and high-shear viscosity. Imparts less sensitivity to hydrolysis, and less syneresis effects. Ideally used for no VOC, and low odor paints. Used for aqueous coatings and aqueous paints based on e.g. polymeric dispersions, alkyd emulsions, hybrid emulsions.
