RHEOLATE® 644 IF

RHEOLATE® 644 IF by Elementis is a solvent-, APE-, & tin-free, polyether urea polyurethane associative thickener for low VOC formulations. It is designed for use in waterborne paints based on a wide range of latex systems. It exhibits superior thickening efficiency in both the mid- and high-shear rate ranges.

• It provides good brush drag, effective flow and levelling control.
• It is pH-independent, easily incorporated, has low odor and is compatible with other rheological additives.
• It offers excellent color acceptance & stability, enhanced film build and reduced spattering during roller application.
• It is isothiazolinone & biocide free and contains no MIT, BIT or CIT.
• It is suitable for gloss & satin-gloss latex paints, high quality trim paints, inks, water-reducible paints and latex paints for interior & exterior applications based on a wide variety of binders.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.4% to 3.0% by weight of the paint.
• RHEOLATE® 644 IF has a shelf life of 2 years.
