RHEOLATE® 666 IF

RHEOLATE® 666 IF by Elementis is a low odor polyether urea polyurethane associative (HEUR) rheology modifier for low VOC formulations. It offers superior thickening efficiency in low-shear rate range viscosity. It is designed for use in waterborne paints based on a wide range of latex systems.

• It is solvent-, APE-, tin-, isothiazolinone free and biocide free and contains no MIT, BIT or CIT.
• It provides viscosity at low and medium-shear rates, excellent spray characteristics, effective flow and levelling control.
• It is pH-independent and can be easily incorporated.
• It is compatible with other rheological additives and allows broad formulating flexibility.
• It can be combined with traditional additives, such as clays, cellulosic or acrylic thickeners.
• It is used in spray-applied industrial coatings, gloss & satin-gloss latex paints, water-reducible paints, inks, latex paints for interior and exterior applications based on a wide range of binders.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.4% to 2.0% by weight of the paint.
• RHEOLATE® 666 IF has a shelf life of 2 years.
