RHEOLATE® 655 IF

RHEOLATE® 655 IF by Elementis is a solvent-, APE-, & tin-free, low odor polyether urea polyurethane associative (HEUR) rheological additive for low VOC formulations. It is designed for use in waterborne paints based on a wide range of latex systems. It exhibits superior thickening efficiency primarily in medium-shear rate ranges.

• It provides good brush drag, effective flow and levelling control.
• It is pH-independent, can be easily incorporated and is compatible with other rheological additives.
• It enhances film build, reduces spattering during roller application and allows broad formulating flexibility.
• It is isothiazolinone & biocide free and contains no MIT, BIT or CIT.
• It is suitable for gloss & satin-gloss latex paints, inks, water-reducible paints and latex paints for interior and exterior applications based on a wide range of binders.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.4% to 2.0% by weight of the paint.
• RHEOLATE® 655 IF has a shelf life of 2 years.
