Finntalc M65LV

Finntalc M65LV by Elementis is an inert and soft, hydrated magnesium silicate with the chemical formula of Mg₃Si₄O₁₀(OH)₂. It is a pure, lamellar, coarse particle size talc with a controlled top-cut and a reduced oil absorption value. It offers low viscosity impact, stable color and hydrophobic properties. It is used as a functional extender to achieve good barrier and anti-corrosion properties with low VOC levels thick film protective coatings, good adhesion and sandability. It is designed for paints, high solids and high PVC protective coatings with the dry film thickness of 80 - 120 µm. It has a dosage level of 15-25%. Finntalc M65LV has a recommended shelf life of 5 years.
