Dapro® DF 455

Dapro® DF 455 by Elementis is a blend of hydrophobic silica, esters and emulsifiers. Acts as a defoamer. It is a water dispersible, non-explosive, mineral oil-free, amber colored liquid with mild ester-like odor. Available in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Americas. Suitable to use in the let-down stage of sensitive coatings systems where optical properties are very important (e.g. gloss, transparency). Designed for aqueous inks. It is in compliance with REACH, TSCA (USA), EINECS (EU), DSL (Canada), NDSL (Canada), ENCS (Japan), PICCS (Philippines), KECL (Korea), IECSC (China), AICS (Australia), NZIoC (New Zealand) and NECSI (Taiwan). It is also regulated with ISO 9001/ ISO 9002 certificates. Typically used at 0.3-1.0% on total weight, but should be optimized by testing. has a shelf life of 2 (two) years from date of manufacture. Dapro® DF 455 is incompatible with oxidizing agents.
