Foam Blast® 349

Foam Blast® 349 by DyStar is a 100% active, highly dispersible, silicone- & mineral oil-free defoamer. It is a proprietary blend of organic components. It is highly effective at relatively low use levels compared to mineral oil-based defoamers. It is designed for industrial-, high gloss architectural, and clear waterborne wood coatings.

• It is suitable for vinyl & styrenated acrylic emulsions, low VOC- and high pigment load coatings.
• It provides excellent foam control in a wide range of aqueous graphic art formulations including OPV’s, corrugated & newspaper inks.
• The recommended dosage level of Foam Blast® 349 is 0.2-0.6%, based on total formulation weight.
• It is composed of ingredients that meet the current requirements of the FDA 21 CFR 176.200 and 176.210 for use in food contact applications.
