METHOCEL™ F4M Food Grade

METHOCEL™ F4M Food Grade by IFF's Nutrition & Biosciences is HPMC-based thickener with medium substitution. It is a water-soluble cellulose ether polymer. It acts as a protective colloid and pigment suspension aid. It offers improved adhesion, spreadability, homogeneity and rheology control. It exhibits water-binding properties and a broad range of pH stability. It allows gelation and reversible gelation with heating. It possesses excellent film properties such as high tensile, strength and elongation. METHOCEL™ F4M Food Grade provides workability and water retention for construction coatings and is also suitable for inks. It complies with FCC, EC, FAO/WHO, GRAS and U.S. FDA.
