METHOCEL™ E10M by IFF's Nutrition & Biosciences is a water-soluble, medium molecular weight, thickener. It produces solutions with high viscosity and thixotropic rheology. Recommended for water-based paints, coatings and inks. Due to hydroxypropyl substitution, it is compatible with alcohols and other polar organic solvents. It acts as a binder and film former. It manufactures solutions that are easy to spread and offers excellent cling to vertical surfaces. METHOCEL™ E10M is also applicable to form flexible films that are resistant to oils and grease.
