DOWSIL™ 211S Additive

DOWSIL™ 211S Additive by Dow offers slip enhancement, mar resistance and anti-blocking improvement. It is ultra-high molecular weight, low cyclic, polydimethyl silicone dispersion in water. This additive is highly compatible with various resin emulsion. It shows solvent dilution and low tendency to cause craters with up to 1% dosage. DOWSIL™ 211S Additive is used in water-borne wood coatings to customize slip and hand-feel. This novel technology-based additive has been modified to improve the compatibility in water-borne gravure ink formulation. It is recommended for use at 0.1–1% as supplied, based on total formulation.
