DOWSIL™ 3055 Resin

DOWSIL™ 3055 Resin by Dow is a reactive, solvent-free amine functional silicone blending resin. Acts as a cross-linking agent. Improves initial gloss, flexibility, thermal & acid resistance and weatherability of epoxy coatings. It chemically reacts with organic resins that contain epoxide, carboxy, isocyanate or acrylate groups to form silicone-organic copolymers. Shows good compatibility with organic resins and reduces water uptake. Used in the modification of industrial maintenance coatings based on epoxy, urethane, carboxy functional polyesters or acrylate resins. DOWSIL™ 3055 Resin has a shelf life of 24 months at <25°C.
