DOWSIL™ 108F Additive

DOWSIL™ 108F Additive by Dow is an alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEO)-free silicone (siloxane-based) emulsion grade. Acts as a foam control agent. Exhibits good dispersibility and low tendency to cause surface defects like craters. Provides good density control and helps in maintaining good appearance of final surface. It works effectively at low dosage. Highly compatible with resins like acrylics, vinyl acetate/ethylene (VAE dispersions), polyurethane dispersions and alkyd emulsions. Suitable for use in water-borne paints and inks. DOWSIL™ 108F Additive is particularly recommended for premium low-PVC architectural wall, wood and other industrial coatings. Recommended dosage level ranges from 0.1-1.0%. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
