Exolit® 855 by Clariant acts as a flame retardant. It is a proprietary mixture containing liquid partial phosphoric acid ester for intumescent transparent fire protection applications.

It is fully soluble in water, non-hygroscopic and non-flammable grade.
It reacts at lower temperatures and allows the combination of excellent fire resistance & durability in high humid indoor areas with brilliant wood surfaces.
Recommended for clear varnishes on various wooden surfaces like MDF, chipboards, plywood and veneered wood.
Exolit® 855 has a shelf life of minimum 6 months from the date of shipping.
