Chiguard® 291

Chiguard® 291 by Chitec Technology is a white to off-white colored blend of bis(2,2,6,6,-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl) decanedioate and N,N'-bis(2,2,6,6-Tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl)-1,6-hexanediamine (synergistic blend of Chiguard 770 (LMWH) and Chiguard 944 (HMWH)). Acts as a ultraviolet (UV) light absorber. Chiguard® 291 is suitable for efficient and long-term protection of polyolefins such as PP, PE, PP/EPDM and PP/PE/EPDM blends from the damage of UV radiation. Used in thick coating applications. Recommended use levels range between 0.1% and 0.6%.
