Chiguard® 327 by Chitec Technology is a pale yellow colored 2-(3',5'-di-t-butyl-2'-hydroxyphenyl) –5-chlorobenzotriazole. Acts as a ultraviolet (UV) light absorber. Possesses excellent stability to heat and light, low volatility, good color, superior wash fastness, and resistance to gas fading. Chiguard® 327 is suitable for stabilizing ABS, polyester, styrenics, urethanes, dyes and pigments. Used in coatings.
