RHEOBYK® -7670

RHEOBYK® -7670 by BYK is a solid, non-dusting, biocide-, VOC-, APEO-, and tin-free associative thickener (HEUR) for use in aqueous systems to increase the viscosity in the medium shear range. It optimizes workability properties and results in an excellent balance between the flowability and leveling.

• It is preferably used in emulsion paints and coatings that are based on acrylate, styrene acrylate, polyvinyl acetate binders, as well as in PU and alkyd emulsions and epoxy dispersions.
• It has no negative effect on gloss or color acceptance.
• It is recommended for architectural coatings, wood and furniture coatings, industrial coatings, marine and protective coatings, and floor coatings.
• The dosage level is 0.1-0.5% based on the total formulation.
• RHEOBYK® -7670 has a shelf life of 36 months.
