RHEOBYK® -7420 ET

RHEOBYK® -7420 ET by BYK is rheology additive to generate thixotropic flow behavior in aqueous and highly polar systems. It is the solution of a modified urea which is hygroscopic in nature. It is easy to handle and improves anti-sagging and anti-settling properties. It is preferably used as an anti-settling additive to produce aqueous pigment, filler and matting agent concentrates.

• It has excellent shear thinning effect because of its low viscosity.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.3-1.5% based on the total formulation to prevent settling and 0.3-3% to prevent sagging.
• RHEOBYK® -7420 ET has a shelf life of 18 months.
