OPTIFLO® -T 1010

OPTIFLO® -T 1010 by Byk (Altana Group) is a VOC-, APEO- and tin-free hydrophobically modified ethoxylate urethane (HEUR) grade. It acts as an associative thickener. It offers Newtonian flow behavior, high viscosity in high-shear range, and low impact in low-shear range. It provides improved processability, leveling and storage stability. OPTIFLO® -T 1010 is suitable for UV-curing & water-based emulsion paints that are based on acrylics, styrene acrylics & vinyl acetate copolymers, and PU & alkyd resins. It is recommended for architectural coatings, general industrial coatings, and wood & furniture coatings. Recommended dosage level ranges between 1.0 % and 4.0 %.
