DISPERBYK® -2155

DISPERBYK® -2155 by BYK acts as a wetting and dispersing agent for solvent-borne, solvent-free systems and pigment concentrate. It is a block-copolymer with pigment affinic groups. It deflocculates pigments and stabilizes them through steric hindrance. It offers increased gloss, color strength, transparency and hiding power. It displays very good compatibility with all common paint binders. It reduces mill base viscosity. It possesses a strong settling tendency. DISPERBYK® -2155 is used for pigment concentrates, printing inks, industrial, wood, furniture, architectural and automotive coatings. Its recommended dosage levels for inorganic pigments is 5-10 %, for organic pigments is 10-35 %, for titanium dioxide is 1-3 % and for carbon blacks is 15-75 %.
