BYK® -1786

BYK® -1786 by BYK is a VOC and APEO-free emulsion of hydrophobic solids and foam-destroying polysiloxanes. Acts as a defoamer for high-gloss, UV and aqueous systems applied with spray coating (HVLP), airless or airmix methods. Designed for architectural, floor, wood and furniture coatings. It can be used both in pigmented systems and also with clear coats. It has no impact on transparency, haze and cratering. Also suitable for protective and industrial coatings. Recommended dosage level of BYK® -1786 is 0.2-1%. It has a shelf life of 36 months at 20°C.
