BYK® -1781

BYK® -1781 by BYK is a solvent-free, polyether-modified polymethylalkylsiloxane with hydrophobic particles. Acts as an excellent defoaming agent for aqueous UV systems. Offers outstanding protection against microfoam and does not impact transparency or gloss in high-gloss systems. BYK® -1781 is used in systems with airless or airmix application. It can be used in both pigmented systems and clear coats. Recommended for architectural, protective, industrial, wood and furniture coatings. Complies with REACH regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. The dosage level for this product is 0.3-1% additive based upon the total formulation. The recommended usage level is 0.3-1%.
