BYK® -051 N

BYK® -051 N by BYK is a solution of foam-destroying polymers. Is a silicone-free defoamer on polymer-basis and excellent compatibility with solvent-borne systems (most compatible defoamer in the BYK-051 N/BYK-052 N series). Due to its excellent compatibility, the transparency of clear coats is rarely impacted, even at higher dosage levels, and craters do not form in sensitive systems. BYK® -051 N is recommended for automotive OEM coatings. Recommended dosage is 0.05-0.5% of additive based upon total formulation. Complies with FDA and/or EU food contact regulations.
