BYK® -012

Silicone- and mineral-oil free polymeric defoamer for aqueous systems. Prevents foam during production and application. Shows optimum efficiency at low dosage. Offers resistance to acid and alkaline solutions. Can be used in a pH-range of 3-12. May lead to turbidity and seeding in clear coats. Used for architectural coatings, industrial coatings, automotive base coats and primer surfacers and printing inks. Specifically recommended for VOC-free systems.
