Acrylan HS 25 is a non-ionic modified polyvinyl alcohol by Baumeister. It acts as a rheology modifier. It provides improved fiber coverage, good paper smoothness & gloss, reduced binder amount and improved coater runnability. Acrylan HS 25 is recommended for high-solid paper coatings mainly based on ground calcium carbonate.
