Hydropalat® WE 3229

Hydropalat® WE 3229 by BASF is a unique low-foaming and very efficient silicone-based wetting agent. It is also effective anti-cratering additive.

It reduces surface tension, thereby improves the wetting of substrates.
It provides improved leveling and perfectly coated substrates even during high-speed applications.
It exhibits low viscosity and excellent compatibility, therefore can be easily added at any stage of the manufacturing process.
It is highly recommended for all kinds of water-based formulations.
Hydropalat® WE 3229 is suitable for solvent-free UV coatings.
Its recommended use level is 0.1-1% on total formulation.
