Efka® SI 2751

Efka® SI 2751 by BASF is a highly efficient silicone defoamer for solvent-based coatings and inks.

It provides very efficient deaeration. It is suitable for broad range of resin systems, such as 2 Pack PU and epoxy systems.
It is specially effective for flexographic, gravure and printing inks.
It is particularly effective in acetate reduced nitrocellulose-based systems.
Prevents the entrapment of air during processing steps such as pigment dispersion, blending and pumping.
It also reduces the accumulation of foam in the ink reservoir during the printing process.
The recommended use level of Efka® SI 2751 is 0.1-1.0% on total formulation.
