Efka® SI 3239

Solvent-free modified polysiloxane. Acts as a defoamer, leveling agent and slip/mar resistance agent. Improves levelling and surface smoothness. Increases slip and mar-resistance. Avoids formation of bénard cells (anti-floating effect). Used in coatings such as acid cured or polyurethane wood finishes particularly when applied by curtain coating, stoving enamels based on alkyd-, acrylic- or polyester resins, self-levelling epoxy flooring compounds and UV-cured paper lacquers. The recommended dosage is 0.05-0.5% on total formulation. It complies with TSCA regulation.
