Efka® SI 2022 by BASF is a silicone-based defoamer for both solvent-based and solvent-free coatings. It prevents the formation of foam and blisters during the manufacturing and application. It is used in polyurethane curtain coatings, 2-pack systems, stoving enamels, and air drying industrial coatings. Recommended dosage level of Efka® SI 2022 is 0.1-1.0% on total formulation.
