Kuraray announces that 3-Methyl-1.5-Pentanediol (MPD) was certified under ISCC PLUS. It's produced at Kuraray's Niigata Plant in Tainai City, Niigata Prefecture. It is an internationally recognized certification program for sustainable products.
Kuraray is headquartered at Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo and is managed by president, Hitoshi Kawahara.
Contribution to Natural & Living Environments
ISCC PLUS ensures that certified items, such as biomass and recycled raw materials, are properly managed throughout their supply chains. It uses the mass-balance approach. This includes the manufacturing process.
Kuraray is implementing 'PASSION 2026' as a five-year plan. It leads up to the company's centennial in 2026. Kuraray will continue to expand its lineup of products. The products contribute to the natural and living environments.
