MPD

MPD by Kuraray is 3-methyl-1,5-pentanediol, an isomer of 1,6-hexanediol and hexylene glycol, produced with kuraray’s proprietary synthesis technology. It exhibits non-crystallinity & hydrophobicity. It provides low viscosity, hydrolysis resistance, flexibility, transparency, good softness and wide compatibility. MPD is recommended for inks. It is listed with REACH, TSCA, ENCS, IECSC, ECN, ECL, NDSL and EFSA.
