ESACOTE® PU 148

ESACOTE® PU 148 by Lamberti is a multipurpose, anionic aliphatic copolymer dispersion based on polyether polyurethane and acrylic esters. It is used as a binder for clear and pigmented coatings. It forms tough, transparent and glossy films in presence of a certain quantity of co-solvent. It provides great brushability in wood topcoat coating. It improves the adherence on pour porous substrates.

• It offers excellent flow & levelling, good hardness development, high gloss & color retention, mechanical- & chemical resistance, good elasticity on flexible substrates and good surface receptivity.
• It is used as a metallization primer in flexible packaging applications, and as a topcoat in architectural coatings for flooring 2K on concrete.
• Suitable for metal coating formulations, for pretreatment on different substrates (galvalume, galvanized iron, aluminum or cold rolled steel).
• It can be combined with water dispersible polyisocyanates, polyaziridines or carbodiimides crosslinkers to enhance the overall properties.
• ESACOTE® PU 148 has a shelf life of 12 months.
